as the title says i lost an oil seal on the turbo and yeah ......... it only had 3500 miles on it but it only had a 6 month warranty dose any in the new england area know of anyone who rebuilds turbos or am i just going to have to take one up the ..... and buy another one ?

Hmm, I think someone just bumped a thread selling a CT-26 with no shaft play for ~250. Im not sure of your interested in a used one or not. Ill bet itchy or Manny will hop in with a good shop in NE. I know Manny goes with ATS for his turbo needs, or atleast I think he does.

Guess what i was doing next week so i could take her to the ri meet

so after looking and playing around with my turbo i noticed it has side to side shaft play(meaing exhuast side to intake side ) but no up and down shaft play what could have cuased that cuase i have no idea and i really dont want this to happen again

well i know what happen to the turbo compressor surge my bov stopped working and cuase back pressure on the trubo witch in turn ruined the thrust washer alowing for play cuaseing the oil seals to go bad so now i need a bov along with a turbo i had a hks ssqv "clone" . now im thinking about getting the new real hks ssqv , has anyone heard of any negative issues or is it a good bov . also a reputable place that sells them becuase i really dont trust ebay all to much ..
