are 5th gen bumper turns same as 6th 93-95 (pre-face list) - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #52102 10 posts Started by 3s-gte_man
as what the title says they look so very similar (5th gen bumper turns and 93-95 pre face lift 6th gen bumper turns) and all that i would like to know was thinking about going to the wreckers and get a 5th gen one just to see but i thought I'd ask first to see if any has tried....cause i really don;'t want to pay nearly 200AUD with shipping to get just the lenses that i have to f around with to get them on my bumper turns..

cheers for your time people!

They are not the same, but you can make them fit. However they will not be flush.
OR u can contact wolfie308 for some SWEET clear turns.....it does costs a pretty penny though.... wink.gif
i've done it. they're not as long as 94-95 turns, but with a lil creativity you can get them to fit well and look awesome.

ss-iii splitters and 404 skirts areon. which means i need to update my sig.
A pretty common option for the 94-95 front bumper. You have to fabricate some kind of mounting brackets but it looks pretty good.

Yours don't look too bad and match with the look of the crystal type side repeaters. Just MHO - fit silver bulbs to get rid of the 'fried egg effect' smile.gif

Mine are the subtlest enhancement as they are an exact replica of the original, and look as if they came like that from the factory.

They are also a perfect fit, and the lens replacement is a doddle as anybody who has done it will confirm.

Due the fact that each is individually hand cast in a vacuum chamber, then oven cured for several hours before cooling, trimming and final polishing, they will never be cheap

hmm, i don't remember exactly what i did. there's different ways to do it. i've read people cutting off the tabs and replacing them with the 94-95 tabs and then redrilled the screw hole at a different angle. some just glued them on. i remember doing some sort of combination of all that. just buy them and play around a lil bit. and if you mess up, they're only like what, 20 bucks?

ey wolfie308, so is yours just the clear lenses, or is it the whole thing?
Mine are just the lenses as pictured. They simply refit to the original backings using my easy to follow fitting guide.

I have one pair available from stock, usually I make them to order
