you can, specially since its a dealer... these days in chicago no one wants to touch older cars.... lets face it...its an older one... now at days 2002 is old.... but yea i talked to the dealer told him a few problems... and he would be willing to take it down to 9.5 and with my trade in would take it down to 6k...but i dun want to owe cash and dont have a job i said no...he was steamed... lol

you would be surprised. i work at a dealership. we had a 350z sell for 15k when they were asking 21k. we had a sti sell for 22k, asking 27k. the prices on used cars are very negotiable if you do it right.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.
yep cuz usually its easier to get rid of it then keep it up for sale for a long time, especially since they cant get more cars in
i dont see whats so "really nice" about it. its nice tho. just a stock low miled vert.
thats whats nice about it wink.gif
yep, "stock" is "in" these days, i just found an 04 rx8 with only 24K miles for 12K, talked it down quick cause they need the room for more cars lol.

It's true about the older cars at dealerships... around here (Portland, OR) you're hard pressed to even FIND a 6GC at any reputable dealership, seems like only the shady ones have any at all... I've been told by someone who worked at a dlr once that any car after 45 days becomes a liability, too, which means that an "old" car that's been sitting around 4 weeks is VERY negotiable. I found when I was looking that 6gcs don't last very long at dlrs though, but it didn't matter because the only ones I'd found were at shady places!

The best consumer is an educated consumer. Do your homework and make a fair and educated offer. They WANT to sell that car!
