ok, im almost done rebuilding my car, minus the select few parts

but my question was about the airbags, does anyone know the laws as far as steering wheel airbags go, because it would be cheaper and better looking to get an aftermarket wheel vs spending 500+ for airbags.

There is really no law on Air-bags. Only seatbelts.
