I have a 95 st coupe.
right before the throttle body, there is a little box coming off of the back of the hose. its seems to be empty and doesn't look like it serves any purpose at all. anyone have any clue what it does??

I don't know what the hell that thing is either. I just put on my Weapon-R intake. I pulled it out and looked it over. It's just an empty box. I figured there was something in it on the GT. My car is running great, and the empty plastic box is gone.

It's actually a resonator. It helps to keep noise down and also serves to reduce turbulent air flow.
