car got broken into tonight - 6G Celicas Forums

so im sitting in "good luck chuck" about 20 minutes in when i get a phone call from my dad
here is the conversation
"dad im in a movie.."
"your car got broken into"
"SERIOUSLY!"
"ya the cops called me and im on my way up there"

i run out the emergency door and find 2 cops writing down information
driver window smashed in and dash halfway pulled off, radio still there
they got "spooked" away is what the cops tell me
but this just pisses me off cause i have to pay for the window!!!!!!
gah sorry for the rant

That sucks man..i was there once before. At least its only the window though. The bastards that got my car cracked a couple of the dash inserts and stole my radio. Its not a cool feeling and kinda creeped me out to know someone else was in my car stealing stuff.

sorry to hear that, but glad nothing major is missing. I know how you feel they broke into my car earlier this year, they tried to steal my subs but the subs dont fit through the back seat and the lever that opens the trunk is BROKEN! LOL what f***ing loosers.. biggrin.gif esp. with my gauges sitting in the middle of the dash... but man it is def. wierd knowing someone was in your car univited. It fills you with angry and hateful thoughts frown.gif

i friggin hate thieves. atleast all they did was break you window and maybe mess your dash up a bit. ive had 3 stereos stolen out of my previous cars and the value of each stereo was about $2500 a piece. i never did find out who did it. but if you find out you must break their legs.

Spolski, man im really sorry to hear that man. Those fu**ers, at least they didnt get your radio, what theatre? We still need to get together, you and Ddawg and all go for a drive. Again sorry to hear that.
BTW i always have a baseball bat on the drivers side and the passenger side of my car next to my seats, you can see them if you look through my windows. I like to think of it as a deterant, make um maybe think what kind of a guy rides around with a baseball bat for him and his passenger? Hit me up

dam scott that friggin sucks, happened to my FC when it was in my driveway, i felt horribly violated of my personal space so i sold it lol...
Im also sorry that it was the driver side window, if it was the passenger side i would have given it to you.

Who would use insurance anyways? Youre going to at least have a 250$ deductable and you could get the window fixed for less than that probably.

Who would use insurance anyways? Youre going to at least have a 250$ deductable and you could get the window fixed for less than that probably.


my insurance deductable is 500 and it cost me 227 for the new window put in

u could do it yourself..get a window from a scrapyard for 20 bucks..

i have a small crack where the stressed the dash... not to bad though
it still bugs the bajesus outta me cause i hate having little stuff wrong with my car
now i have a big chunk of the broken glass saved as a reminder of those punks who think they need my stuff more than i do

Yeah, I hate having little things wrong too, even if it's so small and hidden from view, just the fact that you know it's there...disgusting.

You know, why do people have to break in cars and take cd players? They don't cost much unless you want one with a lcd screen, but even those don't run much now-a-days. One day of legit work and you can buy one vs. stealing one and getting caught....
