Finally after waiting 8 months, i recived my custom straight cut dog eng. gear kit. i think with this kit, celica will be no longer a daily drive, only a weekend car.
because there is no gear kits or seq shifter for our cars (excp fensport), all is custom made by
www.sqsracing.com

here is a list of what i have:

all gears straight cut with custom ratios
dog clucthes and hubs (enables clucthless shifting)
both shafts
s/c final drive gear
custom made steel gear selector forks
sequential shifter
shift cut box (enables flat shifting)


ps. now i am rebuilding my engine with jun 2.2 stroker kit. cant imagine a braek in with dogbox

Jesus man, when will it ever end! Amazing, definitely keep us in the loop! If I ever make it to Cyprus while I'm living in the UK I'll have to see that beast!

Dam! This set up is intense. Im sure this box will be able to take whatever you throw at it. I love the sound of straight cuts but man good call on it being a weekend only car. The sound would drive anyone nuts after a while . Good luck with your install and new power goals, let us know how it goes

all im sayins is wow, and post videos when you get every thing done. Your car is stupid fast in the first place, but now stroking it to a 2.2L + a straight cut squential....your cars gonna b un-holy soon.

after i reild my car, in 1.5 year time i broke my trasmission 4 times. i think to have a stronger gearbox will be much cheaper then repair it all the time.

Gear kit inc. custom design gear selectors and final drive with custom ratios: 4500 euro
( fensport sells 5000 gbp without selectors and their ratios only)
shift cut box 100 euro
seq shifter electro (fits both standat gearbox and dogbox) : 1400 euro

total is 6000 euro + shipping to cyprus + %30 taxes and vat + installing,
makes 9-10 000 euro and 9 months waitig time.
i hope it worths all.

For those that don't know, the Euro/Dollar exhange rate is about $1.4/€1. €10k is more than I spent on my car! lol. That's crazy, but it makes sense if you have to keep replacing them.

well im still new to this stuff...what is it...i try looking up what tufy got and its purpose, but only found out that it replaces fourth gear with fifth and fifth with sixth? im confused, care to enlighten me upon this upgrade? benefits, downside...??

it replaces all gears, i still have 5 gears but, they are stronger and have closer ratios now. also dog engagement allows clucthless and flat shifting that makes me 1 sec faster on every shift.
sequential shifer is wrc stlye shifter, you shift up forward and shift down backwards. again makes me shift faster...

main idea is to have a stonger gearbox. fast enough??? hımm... i still couldnt reach my 500 whp target. and now i have one more target... a sub 10 sec gt four

car should be ready end of this week but video can take one month. after 2000 km break in i ll post in car dyno and may be some new race videos..
