I cant believe F&F was the only mainstream movie ever to "reveal the street racing scene" to America. That was pure crap.
Oh... Marco I will tell you for sure by Monday I get my work schedule. It may not happen though because of the holiday season

The street racing scene has always been there, but it's never been BIG. Espeically with imports. Movies like F&F can never EVER please everyone, there will always be haters out there. There is no really way to portray the "street racing scene" and still make a movie where people want to go see. I've once watched a movie, or documentay really, about a bunch of cars just lining up and racing. No story line, no names, no nothing. But it was REAL..apparently. And it was a movie they had at Blockbuster, it was the biggest regret of my life. I watched about 10 minutes of it and shut it off. The driver and officer interviews were boring and nothing you couldn't see on the news. And yeah, we just gotta face the fact that the stuff we do in real life, is real boring. Seriously, there was no real way to make a movie like F&F both interesting and realistic/believeable. Things like F&F need to be exageratted, and over the top. I think another winner for a very disappointing car movie is REDLINE. Hot cars, hot girls, action, explosions, the building blocks of what appears would be an amazing movie. Yet they somehow still managed to mess that up. Over acting, recycled cars, completely exageratted scenarios, almost unbearable. To me anyways.

Wow sorry Marco, I'm ultimate at thread jacking aren't I? Well man, the skyline is actually going to be the new 2008 GT-R. I'm actually picking it up tonite. I got a killer deal on it, the only catch is that, It's only mine when I'm dreaming.

Hey man, I won't be attending this for sure. I would of made it out after work, but im just taking a break from everything right now. Eat lot's of sushi for me k guys? Just with the recent turn of events in my life, along with my recent Celica accident, hanging out is the last thing on my mind. But I really hope you have a happy birthday man. I probably won't be attending any meets for the next few months which means I will not be at the January 18th meet either. I just need some time to fix my car, and my life. Happy birthday man.
