Hi everyone,

I'm planning on doing a fancy tail light conversion project and was thinking it would be easiest to just smash the translucent plastic off it and use the shell on which the bulbs, etc. mount as a base on which to make the new ones.

So where do you think the best place to find a set of tails would be? I was thinking of trying to find a Toyota wrecker or something. It would actually be best if they were in fact already smashed on the outside, seeing as I will be smashing them anyway. Plus hopefully that should make them cheaper

Or alternatively if anybody has any suitable tails that they would be keen to sell then please give me a shout!

I was hoping someone knew where I can find some good blackout taillights? I know, I know...but I like them!

IMHO the blackout paint or having our taillights blacked out looks like total crap. I've seen them, trust me. It doesn't matter what car color the black tails don't work. I do think that the blacked out tails look "sex" on the 7th gen tails though. I have my white 7th gen tails blacked out looks hot. But for 6th gen the only way to go is JDM baby.

I didn't mean the paint. I know you can buy lense covers that are blacked out.

besides the blacked out taillights look horrid on our cars.

on any car. looks gay. maybe some cars can pass, but still looks gay
