yeah!! i would like to know also!! some degreasers i cant trust because i heard that its bad for your electrical system and it can possibly corrode it...
I've never sprayed down my engine bay with a hose, I would love to, but I don't want to risk getting water into the spark plug valleys. I just use a cloth and Turtle Wax Ice cleaner to shine everything up.
To actually clean dirt and grime I use a purple degrease spray.

i threw towels over things that i didnt want to get tooo wet....... then i used Turtle wax auto soap.

Looks pretty clean with the black manifold and valve cover. Did you mask that when you painted it or did you remove the cover off?
