It's definitely the shadiest thing ever. I was looking through these recently, why would you try to "win" something that someone will give you, or maybe not? I don't understand that if nobody gets the Iphone, how do they know someone else did?

reminds me of the judge judy case where she hunted down a ebay scammer.
The case was the ebay seller was selling pictures of cell phone. And the buyer thought they where getting a real phone.
Judy then make them refund the money and sent child protective services after them. Karma FTW!

I think it's totally stupid, but it's really no different than blowing a bunch of money at a casino or on the lottery.
lol sad that people would bid on it, the guy clearly states you are only bidding on a white envolope thus its legal because thats all he has to give them I would not call it moral though. all he has to do is had out 15 empty white envelopes and call it good. I say good for him if people are dumb enough to go for it.
