as far as I understand when you bridge an amp it acutally reads half of the resistance, right ? so my question is if I have a parallel connection of 2 amps with x ohms each the total resistance ( in the parallel connection ) is X / 2 , so if these subs are then connected to a bridge amp the amp will see half of the total resistance ( x/ 4) ?

you mean parallel connection of two subs or woofers? but if thats what you meant then yes.... if you have two 8ohm subs (SVC) and they are wired parellel to each other... than total resistance is 4ohms seen by the amp (be aware this method only work for 2 subs.... 3 or more you have to use the full formula....) and if you then bridge this... the amp reads it as being a 2ohm load... but when you are looking at the amps specs... you want BRIDGED 4 OHMS

ehhh you're underpowering... you cannot bridge a mono amp... it has to have more than one channel to bridge it... your best bet for sound is to get an amp that puts out 200RMS at 4 ohms to one channel or a 100 watts RMS to each channel x 2 at 8 ohms

but if they are parallel connected they'll be seen as 4 ohms by the amp, and this amp has a 150 watts RMS.

I mean, you may be right, I would just need farther explanation.

right but that is then split between both subs... so each only gets 75W's... so you're 1/4 short from what each sub takes...
