PICS JUST ADDED

I am selling my 6g ST 3sgte. I really want to keep the car because i love working on it and driving it around but I need a little more of an economic car at this point. I the car has good miles on it ~85,000 on the swap and 160 on the body. I did the body work this summer and got it painted along with getting a lot of little things (Timing belt, engine seals, water pump, and fuel filter replaced). The car runs great.

As a 3sgte celi owner and also a stock celi owner.....
I have been here for a few years now. Many people jumped on the bandwagon of swapping engines without weighing out the details. Practically every swap here has been done on only available car making it a craptastic daily driver vehicle in terms of economy. My 3rd gen motor only lets me drive for 280 miles while my 5s lasts for 400. Naturally more and more people came to realise that they cant afforf pumping gas especially with rising gas prices. They should not sell it, however but many do and thats why you have all these swapped celicas popping up for sale as of late.

good luck with sale although I think you took the wrong route. You should keep the celi and buy a stock 6gc to get you by your daily commute.

my insurance for both cars is 940 per six months in florida which is a blessing.

x2 to that, dont sell it... if you put alot of work, time, and money into the car that you dont want to be low balled, then dont sell it! yes money is nice to have, but if you can afford to squeeze by, i think down the road you will be much more happier with a nice celica than without one

if you do sell... wanna part with them tc wheels? :-D

hell, i got a swapped celi, and i can average 300+ mpg city, its just if u get the erge to spruge, thats all

yeah I can get good mpg but its just really random it seems and i would love to just get a cheap daily driver but can't afford paying 2 cars in NJ...its just 2 much for me at this point.

Not positive, but maybe a trade for a 2001 limited edition yamaha r6? (with a bunch of aftermarket stuff)

7, hmm id buy it but insurance hasnt payed out yet.... and i live in texas and its 1000 bucks to go out there... so i gotta come up with 8 if i want the car.... but if you have it when the insurance pays out then itll be a done deal!

I really need cash so im dropping the price to 6,500. this car is worth more than that but like i said i really need the cash.

insurance paid out.... i only got 4 for the car and so im buying a lowballed car thats sitting in the back of the dealership and gunna make about 4 or 5 gs just re selling it, but when the money comes ill soo be there!

The faster you get the money the better because I really need the cash and wont be waiting around.
