Qc city is a tourists oriented city, and I see no problem with anglaphones driving aroud town with hot import cars, the problem is the streets gonne be jamned and having a cruise there will be a real nightmage I believe. Las year, during Québec day, me and my wife went there, and it took about 1h1/2 running 1km
But if some of you want to have this meet on 2 days, mabye we could have the 1st day in sherbrooke, and the second day in Qc city, why not 
But be advised about the traffic issue

Qc city is a tourists oriented city, and I see no problem with anglaphones driving aroud town with hot import cars, the problem is the streets gonne be jamned and having a cruise there will be a real nightmage I believe. ok..so time for nominations for when to do this. We gotta make sure that every one is gonna have their cars out of storage. So june or july would work for me. I should b able to get time off work then, plus most ppl should b done school. So how about either the weekend of june 14/15? or june 21/22?? As soon as we decide on a date for sure..ill make some phone calls and see if i can get some sponsorships/support from some people..plus i will find a hotel and call them and try and get a group rate.

hmmm my dad work for the king edward hotel and we all go down to montreal once a year and get discounts on hotels, if i'm given an exact amount of rooms needed to be booked, i can find out how much he MIGHT be able to get it for.
Can I suggest labor day week-end? It's a long week-end for both Canada and US.

I'm alright with the time--I'm done school in end of April anyway, think that should leave me plenty of warm weather time for me to do a few last things before the big event--doubt I'll have the engine though so w/e, i'll just do side-things until then.

The only problem with the 14/15 week-end it's because it's the father's day week-end, and some might want to be with their dads on that day, but I'll be in anyway:) if it what's you decide

Just a question for people from Maritimes...do you think it would be a good idea to meet somewhere and drive up there together like in Edmundston, NB....i think the drive would feel shorter when you have a 6gen rear in front of you ....and also a safety if something wrong happen along the way

its gonna be like a convoy across ontario...we r gonna start down in windsor, and come across picking people up along the way. i would be great to rallye fron the NB border to wherever/whenever. the safety factor is important and we could play leapfrog all the way to the site.
BTW i can't wait much longer for a date...my calendar is starting to fill. i will most likely be on vacation all of July and first 2 weeks of August.
