I need a good lawyer in Montgomery County.

Someone help me!

If I pay the ticket its gonna be 560ish.. damn

550 for going only 17 over? What the heck. I went the same exact speed with traffic and got a ticket for 147 I think. It was like 3 years ago. That sucks man but good luck man.

Base ticket cost is 185, every mph over is 5 bucks, and its doubled for workers present.

that sucks... at least you were breaking the law when you got yours though.


I got a ticket on Thanksgiving for going 15 over when i was driving the speed limit or lower. He pulled me over initially for illegal tint and headlight to find out i didn't have tint and my foglights were completely legal. Cop was a douche and just mad he had to work the holiday. He searched my car and made me do a sobriety test too. Now i gotta drive two hours to go to court to fight it.

and i was racing hahaahhahahhha...............stupid cops, i hate them.

I say STUPID YOU for racing in a 35 zone. Or racing on the streets period. What if some kid chased after his ball or something. I think you should have gotten a stiffer penalty than 190.

well try to beat this, i got a 62 in a 30, and then the next weekend 7 days exactly i got a 99 in a 50, still trying to pay for both of those, total for 62 ina 30 is gonna be $525 and then the 99 ina 50 has been $250 for lawyer fees already and i still dont know what the court fine + costs will, then i already paid $105 upfront on that one so yeah

Yeah... I-10 is Effed over where i live... construction and such. and yeah 55 double fines. I DO speed... but only 10 over going west bound. however, on a good night i'll do 110 going east. why? going east, the only way to get pulled over is for there to be a cop already on the road. no where to pull over. kinda makes up for the hellhole the construction has made.

look on msn...the vids...they were talking about people speeding that those tickets issued are paying for the taxes to pay cops to work and they're planning to raise it even higher...let me see if i can find a link...

what, are you trying to compete to see who has had the most speeding tickets..? If you were in WA, that 60 in a 30 woulda gotten you a fellony, not something you want to brag about.

edit: and chacha, alot of areas have quota's for cops to make like each day. The more people they give tickets to, the more pay they get.

hahaha...im not proud of what i have done either....im watching my a$$ too when im on the road...regardless...even when being careful, i still get pulled over from time to time...because i have a set of rims and a muffler...lol...i agree with vert...you should more careful. the law is not someone you want to mess with when it comes down to your investment...(generally speaking "MONEY")...heck i would be pissed if i had to pay a fine for 1Cent....money is money and being a student myself...it makes it even worse when i have to cough up $5 dollars from time to time for food on campus...no one out there is going to give you money, even a dollar, people wouldn't give...

I don't mean to brag, but I was doing the same speed over the limit you were...17 mph. But I was doing 52 in a 35. I got pulled over, and I skated by with "here's a warning, have a nice night sir!!" I think the reason you got the ticket was because workers were present. Otherwise I think you could have gotten away with it.

3rd day i had my license commin back from the movies with 3 ppl in the car and in my pops caddy (srx with a northstar V8...thing purred) i was doin 75 in a 35...not good....i look back on it now and it was stupid but the cop pulled me over n where i use to live every cop was a d-i-c-k...but he saw i had just gotten my license and he said it would really f me up and we had like simular last names or somethin so he let me off with a warning...i was sooo happy

better yet do me a favor, get some scissors and cut your license in half - cuz you're not gonna have it for about maybe 6 months to a year

heres my story:
158 in a 100 = $585 and loss of license for 5 months
then 80 in a 50 = $270 and loss of license for 2 months
then driving while suspended = $350 and loss of license for 6 months and 30 day impoundment and $500 impounding fee

And i get my license back TODAY. Its gonna cost me $350.
And i have a stock 5sFe wow i don't think i should get a 3sgte.
