JDM Powerplant installed, BPU coming very soon!
They look ok. Nice pieces the colors work well together
they appear to depict some darkness.

I don't really agree with itchy's ethnic pick but we all see something different
is it dark metal art comictize? like a typical dysfunctional family?
i straight up hate them. They look demonic to me.

Looks to me like they're partying.

"He won't come out of the bathroom. He keeps telling us we're dark somethings and not his friends.""Hmm. Ask him if he's the dragon reborn.""What?""Just do it."".......He said yes.""Tell him you are not darklings. He should open up."".......Sweet. Thanks.""No problem."
i duno but i get the feeling that its a depressing reminder that death will be with you always and no matter what you do, play (it seems they are trying to fly kites in some of them) dance, and work (i duno, 3rd from the right looks like they are at work or somethin) and at home (first one on bottom row thers a dead blackbird on the window sill) its all around you and its what makes us equal, but different.

i duno, thats what i get from it.

To me it looks like examples of the struggles or life experiences of African Americans or other people who have been subjugated in one form or another. While a depressing subject, the art is actually pretty interesting.

Makes me think of New Orleans. I love New Orleans. The art isn't what I would chose for my house but I don't dislike it.
maybe the plague? they cant eat? everything around them dies. they cant farm.

almost all their faces are turns upwards suggesting they want help from a god(s). Its suggesting a time of trouble or a time in need.

The undead living it up.

Kinda cool but not something I would hang on my wall.

JDM guy made me do it.
looks to me like scenes from people in an insane asylum. They appear to be looking up as if they are being watched. a few of them seem to be dealing with their own personal nightmares that no one else can see like the 4th one in a cafeteria setting.

IMHO... ghosts or dead people. And in those picture should be displayed what they did few moments before dead. There are normal situations like fish market, family at home, people waiting (railway station maybe) in there, can you see that kid with kite in the last picture? It's like common Sunday of kid with parents... many of them are looking up... maybe some bombing casualties and they are looking on those air planes in the sky or something... they definitely are innocent victims...

I'm here was away from the computer all weekend,

yes correct, there a dipiction of the hiroshima bomb and neclear radiation... peoply dieing horrible deaths and what not. reason I asked is because the exact original paitings are the new uplifting modivational displays in the loby of my work. I dont quite understand the reason why they were chosen and why we have to look at peaple dieing in terrible ways when we show up for work but yeah, I look at em and feel a little closer to suicide every day smile.gif

maybe its due to the troubles we (our group) are having at work, maybe someone is a total dumb a$$, or its a juke as to how bad things are getting for our department due to internal issues.

me and a few others decided that the next one to see a black velvet evlis rug has to get it and hang it in the middle (internal joke, long story.) next to the christmas tree we just got smile.gif

I was gonna go with rage and despair, because of the red in their skulls (rage color) and the way their heads are turned upwards, the way people turn their heads upwards when they yell violently with grief or despair. I guess that fits in with the Hiroshima thing.
