Well the guy said I have won something and they aren't allowed to sell me anything when they come over. I figure all they will do is talk while I have my ears shut. If I have to sign anything, it will be a title to a new ford explorer

you do know that even if you did win you have to pay taxes on that. the government will charge you 15g in just taxes on that thing. you would be better off buying it from them for a dollar.

You don't need a hidden camera - I will tell you what will happen.

You will win the cruise. The others are actual prizes. The cruise will likely include a bunch of hidden fees, not include airfare, and will be very short in duration. They will use the opportunity to try to sell you something - probably a great discount vacation that might cost a little bit but its a really great deal! (sarcasm dripping here).

I got the same call. I have to go to a seminar to get my prize this weekend. Its a company that sells time shares and they give a schpeal about buying time shares. My boyfriends mom said you get ur prize they just try to hard sell you


I won a trip to vegas including airfare and hotel. I have to pay 100 bucks in taxes but eh wtf...i could use a 2 day break to vegas :-)

As far as remembering entering this thing, I do it all the time, everytime I see one of those sweepstakes things in the mall, I enter. So i could have lol.

i got the same call last night, weird. supposedly i had won a 3 day 2 night trip to vegas or orlando. they told me to pick it up today. figured it was bs so didnt go.

yea me and my wife got the same call too... It was from a company/group named Geo Holidays and they claim that they have over 50 resorts around the world and over 500 partner resorts that you can get "BIG" discounts everytime you go on vacation. They promised us 2 days trip to Vegas, Anaheim, Orlando or Quebec, any of the four with free accomodations and air fare so we took it BBBBUUUUTTTTT... they will try to hard sell you their membership for almost at least 15 grand. The price changes depending on how much credits you are willing to take and pay. We didn't buy their stuffs but we took the tickets, they promised us those tickets with no strings attached anyway.

well with my call i got I went to a trendwest seminar and listened to a guy for 30 mins try to sell me timeshare. I said umm im broke so he said ok and i still got my prize of a trip to vegas.

ive gotten 2 other calls since for other travel companies to go to other places but havent gone cuz i dont really care that much to go to Vegas and stay in a Howard Johnson for 2 days.

to Vegas? nope. I got 1.5 years to use the tickets but I have to send in 3 dates that I am available to go and it cant be near a weekend. I have to fly down there on a Sunday Monday or Tuesday and then come back 2 days later. I probably wont go because when I travel I like to sleep in nice hotels and a Howard Johnson just wont do it for me.
