I was just thinking how hard would it be to add a chat room. this q is probably for coomer and the mods. Iknow there aren't a lot of members online in the same time but I think this would get ppl to stay online a lot more plus with this any member could get live help or ideas while working on a project.
So, what do u guys think about that?

it'd be different if we'd have a dedicated 6gc chat.......I've seen some other forums that have it and it's pretty cool ....easy to get online and u don't need another program to run it........mods, what do u think?can it be done?
It's not that hard to code one. I'm not a programmer myself but I work with them and I've seen them create them for sites. It really is just as easy as logging in and whoever's on the site can talk to the others. Good idea, I like it.

chatroom would be a great idea. And no its not all that hard to do. I believe they make mods that you can just download and install for IPB. No, i KNOW they have mods you can download for IPB and i'm 99% sure chatroom is one of them.

A few days ago I was replacing my seats and I had a hard time taking out the bottom rear seat........a chat would've helped so much......u cant always wait a few hours or days for an answer on the forum.
plus it would help members to get to know each other a lot better and I'm sure a lot more ppl would go to meetings and stuff like that
i am down with it to. i am on here constantly and instant help or assistance would be great then also people with blackberries and althoughs handheld could chat anytime about anything.

Well i may be the new guy, but i do know how to script and embed a chat room code. It'd be a dedicated chat room, on this server with the rest of the web site.
If anyone gets ahold of one of the moderators; let them know. I have done it plenty of times before. (it's what i do for my 'rent check' after all)
