i know this is a CELICA forum and all, but do yall like the 3000 gts? my choice is between getting a 3000gt or getting a celica and then a swap >

celica, then swap... 3kgt's are very nice cars, but there pretty big and pretty common. but if you went 3kgt definitly get the vr4.
PS There is a 3kgt around here with pearl white paint, its beutiful but I think celica's are more beutiful!

Celica, those 3K's are just too big for me. The VR4's are pretty fast, but its just not the type of car i would want.

I lost to a 3000gt back in high school at Sear Point... hahaha... that fugger was hella fast... it caught up to me... even with a 3-4 sec handicap...
Dont go with the 3000gt. Those are trouble. My good friend has one and has done nothing but thrown money at it. Plus there is no aftermarket for them. I mean about the same amount as for the celica. But with the celica you can do the swap and upgrade from there. My friend after 2yrs of having his 3000 VR4 is still trying to find parts. Oh, and the 3000gt IS front wheel drive the VR4 is all wheel drive.

yeah, im really going towards celica, BUT i really want a 3000 because im sure you can make that go faster that a celica with a swap (mainly because celica is 2wd(front wheels) and the 300 vr4 is awd so it has more potential but... i wish... mmm I WANNA GT-FOUR!
Hmm, I got totally ripped apart by a dodge stealth tt the other day. And I dunno if the 3kgtt comes in the twinturbo. But if it does then they are pretty fast, but heavy. And overall, chicks absolutely dig my car and well... its all about the chicks man.
soo any other ideas, wouldent a 3000gt vr4 own a celica with a swap? or what, because i am into mods and my dads a mechanic and owns an import shop (kaps imports) anywho its a local place and well, i want a celica but front wheel drive, i want to get a good 500hp at the wheels on whatever i get, and i could do thta with a celi and a 3sgte but, torque steer( i dont wanna die) how bad is the torqe steer with a hight powerd celi, please help me out, heh
Honestly, if you are looking for a serious in your face performance car, get a 240SX and swap in a s-14 SR-20 det. I love my celica, but If I wanted anything over 300hp, I'd get a 240.

the 240's are nice, but, for looks I would have to either have an s14a or an s15, and I think the 3s-gte is more potent than the sr20det, just MO
