Your only forgetting one thing Martin. USDM Celica's dont have the Gaugecluster dim knob. So I dont think it would work.

however I'm not sure if it worths it... I mean it's dimmer so it may only dim the light not make it brighter...
note: plus we have an answer here who has and who has not that damn dimmer

I don't know if my 2¢ matters for this, but I have the dimmer thing and for whatever it's worth, I like NEVER use it. Every car I've owned has had it, and I just never have any need for it. You can't really use it if you have LEDs because it'll decrease the life of them, and the rest isn't so bright that it would, IMO, justify the time and effort to install.

If all it takes from me is time, then i'm ok with it because i would have learned a thing or two about wiring and i would have installed another factory "extra". But i still haven't found the part number 84119 yet (rheostat, light control).
