ok a friend of mine is sellingf me his transimission but is coming from a 92 celica gt....will this work with my 3sgte swap? what about the shifter cables?

You are aware that the transmission you are getting has a mechanical speed sensor in it.. compared to your 6gc's electronic speed sensor.. right? And no.. they aren't interchangeable.
