why don't you import a GT-4 to your country ? it'll be cheaper / safer / easier than swapping / building a AWD car, you're not in US ( unless it's a typo ) so the GT-4 is probably legal in your country ( Costa Rica ) if you have all the parts as you say, just import a ST205 chasis and put the car together.
Thats a shame, here in CR its ilegal the rigth side...
But if u have some info, pics, tecnical, please
Best Regard

2 things:
1. There is at least 1 imported GT4 in Costa Rica - my sister goes to school there and her roommates dad owns one. He says he'll let me drive it when I come down there to visit. [just haven't done it yet cause that's an expensive test drive.

]
2. Not all GT4's are RHD. There are LHD ones that were originally for Germany and other European countries that are LHD.
So if there is no law against importing a car that is LHD but wasn't sold there - you should take the advice of the people above and just import one. There is so much that could go dangerously wrong with custom fabing the back end like that. I believe there was someone on here years ago that said his car pulled hard in one direction when he got above 60MPH.
Food for thought.
