I put a post up a long time ago asking how you take the rear T logos off the trunk, but i didnt really get any answers. Any ways, i need to know how because i got Sarah a new T for the back of her car. I understand that there is the adhesive but there is also the 2 pins holding it in. I know how to get around the adhesive but im knida drawing a blank on how to remove the 2 pins.
Any one wanna help?? *cough* manny *cough*..lol
Im pretty sure the emblem is like all toyota emblemes. this means that they are just double sided taped on like the others on the car. Get a small putty scraper to gently slide it under the emblem to take it off. As for the pins, Im pretty sure they are studs that come off with the emblem. then get goop off from an automotive store and remove the leftover residue.

its the pins that usually snap on removal but a thin bladed instrument like said a scraper of some sort and prise off a good tip is to put something soft there a rag or something similar to protect paintwork
proper way to remove emblems and lettering... heat gun or hot hair dryer on the emblem for 5-10 minutes to get the glue nice and warm... then slide floss behind it and across and pull out... keep you from messing up paintwork and will pull all or almost all the glue off if you heat it up enough... i'm pretty sure the pins are just guide pins otherwise they will just break pulling it off

Breaking Axles...
yea i got it off using some fishing line flossing it behind the logo and then pulling up. I didnt know if the 2 little tabs were actually snapped in, or if they just sat there.
couldnt you take out the 3rd brake light and fit your fingers behind to push the tabs???? just a guess
I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island
On my coupe they were just like guide pins, they didn't hold it on the deck lid.
