looks like MR2oc .com is the place for finding some good hard to find parts. My very first post and i got like 3 replies the next day and now i will be getting my 2 bar map sensor in the mail shortly for only 75 dollars shipped.won a ct26 turbo on ebay thursday night ,so the 2 hard to find parts are done now for everything else. I must say if it was nt for posts like pressure2 and others i would be spending thousands of dollars at shop for a project that can be DIY.
mr2oc.com and alltrac.net are the best places to find 3sgte parts since both those cars came with that engine stock.

unfortunately, that's all the cheap stuff. when you start looking at gauges, fuel management, and intercoolers, you'll see quickly the cost adds up.

just got the oil pan from 20incher ,at mr2oc.com for only 50$ so that makes oil pan ct26turbo ,manifold and d-pipe ,and 2 bar map sensor oh and turbo oil line all for about 447 dollar and yes that incudes shipping.

thanks i will look in to that as the hunt continues
I'm pretty sure the injectors needed are for the 87-91 non-turbos. but I'm not 100% on that. turbo ones are 550cc.

I love mine, just wish I could get some more traction, but some new wheels and tires should help with that a lot.

I cant wait until I can get all the parts together so that I can build up my turbo-celica.This kid i met on mr2oc .net has been helping me out a lot he said that he has a Greddy emanage with full harness and tool for 250,but im not sure if i am going to need it cause idk anything about tuning so im going to leave that up to speed shop guys
>
Well, I would probably get the emanage from that guy. Because you will need a tuning source regardless of who tunes it, any shop around me requires you to have a tuning electronic. Depending on how well the speed shop you know knows emanage, will most likely be reflected upon the final price of the tuning job.

Yeah after doing a lot of research on this site I know Im going to need some sort of cpu for tuning but i will have to do some more tattoos toget up the money for one, right now i will keep collecting all the other stuff.
i loved mine.....but right now its under construction for next summer...newer engine and more goodies going in!!
do you get a lot of problems after you put the turbo on?
no, but dont get me wrong....the next week after you turbo, you'll be ironing out some bugs in your setup, but after its properly tuned, its smooth sailing
ok thats great cause i want to be able to keep this car forever cause here in maryland every one drives hondas and acuras and when they see my car its always the same thing. They say that people only buy celicas cause they look fast,i like the celica cause its rare to see a 6GC,and i have a coupe.
I had a few issues with fluid leakage, but it was just a matter of getting it all fixed up. now it runs great. still has a couple more leaks I have to take care of though.

thats one thing that kinda worries me just a little after reading all the info on this site i am pretty sure that i can do all the major mechanical stuff its just the plumbing that i cant seem to get a clear visual on.maybe if there were more pics of what runs from were to were it would be more clear i think i have it all down i just want to be sure so that once i start there arent any road blocks
just wondering if the 460cc RX7 injectors from 88 as opposed to 89-91 will work or they have to be those exact ones?

They're from an 88 non turbo RX7. 460cc same imperdance and so forth. Any reason why they wouldn't work? I jsut want to know before i get to deep into this
