That's the best pic of the monster.

so you are telling me that this soda needs an ingredient off the ocean floor? wouldn't that make it incredibly expensive?

That's what they're telling us. I don't know how much it is.

I liked the movie, Hud was pretty funny "Did you know that Rob slept with Beth??" the monster was pretty wild and the filming wasnt too bad but yes did make me wanna puke at times. All in all i'd give it two thumbs up.

But yea, i think its an alien and not a sea creature. How could a wild animal have the intelligence to cut off a bridge that could be used for escaping a city, rip off JUST the head of the statue of liberty and pitch it and cause a power outage/knock over a oil tanker?

looks like a good rental to me....

>By the way, Slusho, and Tagruato, are two names often tossed around. Slusho is a popular Japanese drink in the Cloverfield world, and Tagruato is a drilling company from what I've heard. Apparently Slusho's main ingredient is called Seabed's Nectar, and they had to partner with Tagruato to drill for it in the deepest parts of the ocean...but Tagruato was searching for a peice of their satellite (Hence the splash you saw when Rob and Beth were at Coney Island). So the creature came from the sea, just like Abrams said.

I saw some viral websites (slusho.com) but there was no obvious connection. Seems pointless viral marketing to me?

I missed the splash at Coney Island too...

Saw it last night. I liked it. Sat in the last row so I was fine with all the shaking. The monster was cool, those smaller ones reminded me of those brain bugs critters from half life. Id like to see squeal.

I thought this movie was great.

i can see why people wouldnt like it though...

1. they get sick easy (babies)
2. you dont get spoon fed the story, just like everything else in hollywood. dont get me wrong i enjoy a good movie, but its nice to have something different every once in a while

All of J.J. Abrams stuff is like this. I know of quite a few people that dont watch LOST just because they cant follow along with it. I like his stuff simply cause i like to think about whats going on and try to piece it all together.

I really enjoyed it, my girlfriend gets real bad motion sickness like driving for more than an hour and she feels like throwing up, but she was fine through out the movie. Maybe for those out there that werent...take some sea legs before hand and watch it again.

Yea those little f**kers where definitly some starship troopers ****.

I thought that girls head blew up looking at how high the splatter was.

Damn I cannot believe how intently some of you were watching the movie like seeing all the little hidden parts. Well done.

Has he done any other movies?

i think those little bugs were ment to be like whale mice but instead for the monster
holy shiat i just watched this movie last night. My Gf hated it cause its it didnt just come out and explain everything, which I LOVED! That was an amazingly well made movie. I think it was perfect. How brilliant? how cool?

Seriously? Wouldn't it be cool if a flaming homeless guy came running at us right now?

I lolled

I saw it last night and I am still amazed! But sad that HUD died so randomly frown.gif......Anyway I love how the movie was made as a story of the people and not specifically the monster itself
