Everyone seems to have differnet opinions on turboing the 7afe, some say dont the motor will blow, some say it can handle it well. For someone whos debating on doing this or not (Myself) it gets realy confusing, so lets have EVERYONE with a 7AFTE post their experiences with it, such as dependability, max psi ran, daily driving psi, hp and tq, how long they've had it, wether they've had alot of problems with it or no? Anything else that seems relevent to this topic. Thanks evryone

I have read alot of this and that, so instead I just went on with it and running 14 PSI on stock engine.
Still some problems with the e-manage injection wire's but I hope to solve it pretty soon
Been running for 1 week (wohoo!) and no faults/problems so far.

how much differnece would the e-manage reely make then using safc2 and fmu?

I am not familiar with the safc2, but I picked the E-manage cause it can change the map sensor signal so no fuel cut, and the ignition timing.

build it right, and it will last, and be LOTS of fun in the process.
skimp on parts, cut corners to save a few bucks, and you will regret ever doing it. simple as that.
built right, a 7afte will make ~200hp, pretty easily, and quite reliably.
just a matter of selecting the right parts, and putting them together in the proper manner, and good tuning.

i agree with pressure2 i have had the 7afte for 2 years and the first was bad because i tried to cut corners but now it is a blast to have and drive. use good parts and dont cheap out on the tune, it will last for a long time.
