To start things off : i'm going to pick up a nice little 91 mr2 this saturday, for a real steal. Bad news is that it's n/a and has a rod knocking/possibly broken rod. I'd like to keep my celica and fix this thing up for a weekend toy, for as little money as possible. All the accessories are good and wiring is going to be fine as far as i know. I need a moderately low mileage 5s-fe longblock w/ NO ACCESSORIES... preferably 94-99 model with under 120k miles. So, for all you guys considering a 3sgte swap into your GT ... DIVE IN! you have a buyer here for your used 5s-fe....if it is moderately priced of course. Please PM me... thanks guys

Man - I just let one go to the junkyard on my wrecked '99 GT cause I couldn't find a buyer even tho I just did the compression test and it netted 96%-97% across all four cylinders. I'll see if I can find out which junkyard it went to and see if I know anyone there who will give you a good deal. I took extreme care with that motor - Tuneups every 6mo without fail, Mobile 1 fully synthetic throughout it's entire life etc. Plus it was a '99 so it had the metal headgasket etc.
I'll see what I can do.
BTW - The wreck was from the back and the engine started and ran fine after the wreck so no worries there.

I have a 5sfe available from my 91 mr2 if you like? It has 130k on it, has compression of 150-160 on all cylinder. I'm getting rid of it for $200. I'll even give you the tranny, it shift strong on all gears. Shipping is cheap through Yellow, i think.
let me know if you're interested.

I have one I pulled out of my 93 mr2. Just over 100,000 miles and timing belt and accessory belts done 7,000 miles ago. New alternator as well. Ill even include my aftermarket header I have for it. Its currently connected to a perfectly good 5 speed tranny but I can take it off if you just want the motor. PM me if your interested and we can talk about price.
