That said, as far as actually having the cams, it's something of a "don't ask don't tell" policy because it's not a modification you can easily check for. I think, based on the cam profiles, they won't affect emissions enough to make you fail. I've run 272 degree cams with 8.1mm lift and was able to pass the sniffer in a 4AG, so I think emissions-wise, assuming your cats and EGR stuff are in good shape, you'll pass.
if that's the case....great!!! thanks. as long as it'll pass the emissions, i'm good. just like you said, it's not something you can really check for. (what's a lift?) i'll probably go with colt cams. They are trying to do a group buy in celicatech.
