Ive just bougth an uk GT for spare parts for my celica,and i have a quick question, does the braking system of a GT fits in a ST (european version)?
what tools do i need and what do i need to know if i'm doing this?

no, not rear drums on euro st (at least on mine)
i need information about both braking systems , and maybe help.
Do you have rear disc brakes? What exactly are you trying to do?
do you want to put the GT disk brakes on the ST celica ? it's easy to do if you have the GT for spares.

I could have sworn EURO spec Celica ST's came with factory rear discs...

Anyway, the fronts are interchangeable ONLY between MacPhearson strut models. You basically swap over the calipers with brackets, and the rotor. Done.

will this provide me a better braking or not?(i guess yes, but not sure)
Are the euro spec GT rotors or calipers bigger? Are they dual piston? What makes them 'better'?

the euro gt fronts are bigger and the rears are the same size in the st and gt.
