For JDM car like us just Plug and Play

Run some wires to a relay hooked to the positive terminal and a button or a switch to turn them on or off.

you can even buy a wiring kit all done with switch and relay at most auto part stores for ~ US$10.00, or you can build it yourself for a fraction of that.
couldn't you splice it into your parking lights or you headlights? would be much easier than running a toggle switch to the inside of your car and would be a much cleaner look. i've done it a few times to other cars in the past and isn't that hard to do.

Check out my Celica for sale!!!
I wouldn't recommend that! I don't know, for me I just bought a fog lamp installation kit that comes complete with all wiring, diagram, toggle switch, and relay. Then I bought an OEM rectangle-shaped lighted toggle switch and replaced the rectangle-shaped plastic cover from the right side of the steering wheel. Kind of hard to explain but i'll get pics up to show you what I mean.
Why wouldn't you recommend that? I mean if you're not used to having foglights and you forget to reach down and turn them off when you leave your car - bye bye battery.

Man, I do want those but I don't have $150 right now. Maybe in a month.

The thing is with the relay setup one of the wires goes to an ignition power source. So even if you have the toggle switch in the on position the power to the fog lamps will still be off because the car's key isn't turned to the ACC.

My question is why would you ever turn them off?

Dunno, waste of bulb life to keep it on the whole time? I have it mainly for looks and to fill the bumper a bit.

I must've got em good because back when I was in the market, they were under 100 dollars even as low as 40 bucks for a pair with brackets.
