day after I got it after the first wash:
here's the reason I replaced the hatch:
first engine bay pic I took after the injen went in. The stock intake was ripped and wrapped up in duct tape, lol.

but still has paint cancer. I'm actually researching the cost to repaint the hood, roof, fenders, and hatch with paint using the factory color code right now. it's looking pretty expensive though. about $90 for a pint of basecoat. I want to repaint the whole car soon, so maybe I'll just wait.

you should ride the suppah ferry or plane and come chill........

Yup, it was a big change, and also alot of money too All and all though i'm satisfied with the results. I first started the celica project in March 2006 and painted the car silver in August 2006. The extension and sideskirts went on in January 2007 and since remained the same till now. The paint job isn't 100% so the flaws will be fixed in a few months hopefully. And with the toyscious meet, yeah I'll keep it in mind cause I want to bring the celica up to Oahu and meet up with you and the other toyota groups.
