does anybody know if they are sold new, i like the fact they fit our cars with no mods. its supposed to be from a st205.

you can find 8" midbass speakers here in US, as long as they are 8" they'll bolt right in place.


I have 8" bass on my dorrs along with 4" mids and tweeters. just try to get one that has a small magnet on the back or you'll need to dremel the door to fit it in place.

as far as i know those are not stock speakers in the original post... toyota only used fujitsu ten otherwise known as eclipse speakers in our car... i could be wrong but those look like they are just retrofitted to fit... also look at the wires coming from the speakers... definitely not stock

thats what i tought. no i definetely dont want my doors to sound like a boombox, but i def waht 8 inch speakers

what do you have?? I was thinking all celicas had the 8" speaker in the lower part of the door.. some just have additional tweeters and a 2nd set of speakers..

yea i'm prett ysure we all do... you stock speakers just have this big ass ring around them to help them fit

somebody around here said pioneer speakers are just some nice set of wires and plastic.

I like them myself, but then again having a sub in my door, will not fly. I will start saving for infinitys,

what do you have?? I was thinking all celicas had the 8" speaker in the lower part of the door.. some just have additional tweeters and a 2nd set of speakers..

i only have the 6 speaker system in my car(i think most GTs have the 6 speaker system). the 8 speaker doors came in the verts and the canadian GT-S. if i had the 8 speaker panels in my car i would get subs in the doors. until i can find some new door panels i will have to stick with the sub in the trunk.
all celis have the 8" hole in the doors so they will fit my car i just don't want to lose my midrange sound.

I def dont have 8 speaker doors...8 speaker system....three in each door, two in the rears...




p.s. whats the maximum mounting depth you can go without having to modify the door itself?

The question is not how far. The question is, do you possess the constitution, the depth of faith, to go as far as is needed?

Kicker SSMB8 are shallow-depth speakers, and Memphis Audio MSYNC-8 are a more difficult fit but done by other owners -- and those E-bay pieces look to be the MSYNC-8
