for 5 years i worked as a short order cook/dinner cook. it was great! i know all too well about the comfy checkered pants, but sometimes it got hot under the chef coat. pay was great too. $14/hr at good ol' disney. sometimes it got so slow at the bar, i just sat around in the back and chilled with the stewards. plus it was mandatory that we taste test everything we make biggrin.gif
I work for a paint company. Pretty chill job. Need more $$$ though.

1999 Celica GT Hatchback
I work for America's tire/discount tire as a tech. it's a pretty easy job once you get the hang of it. And getting to work on cars is fun, I just wish I was making more money. I also kinda wish we did other stuff like brakes and shocks so I could gain some more experience for my later career. which, btw, I'm going to school for automotive technology too, and want to be an automotive technician.

I HATE IT. I do nothing 90% of the time. I went to school and have my Paralegal Certificate which was not easy to get and I graduated with a 3.95 GPA. So right now I'm wasting skills and I'm bored. I don't get any benefits other than my gas being paid, but that doesnt mean much when you have to pay $400/month for health insurance. I get paid A LOT less then I should too... I have not received a raise in 2 years.

The only reason i stay is because i feel guilty, i mean this IS my family.

So in the Pennysaver there were two adds, one for a Legal Assistant and one for a Legal Secretary. One is in an area that pays very well, so I'm really hoping for that one.

I work in the service department at Bristol Toyota in Bristol, RI. I am a Toyota Certified Assistant Service Manager. I am also involved in representing Scion for the dealership.

I was a Mechanical Engineering major but now I'm working full time, maybe to save up some money (and accumulate a year of a financial aid worthy living situation) to continue taking classes.

It's true that it is pretty cool to hear all of the different jobs people have.

Me - I'm a partner in an small electronic engineering/manufacturing business. I do a lot of the actual design work but am still also at uni doing my degree in electronic engineering.
Up until a short time ago I ran the receiving dock for Taser International located in Scottsdale AZ. Responsible for all raw materials and equipment entering the company(plastics, electronic components, equipment, personal packages.) Mantained cycle inventory for Raw warehouse and Production. Kept records and resolved problems with invoices. and performed duties and tasks associated with just about every other dept in the company because i had access to all locations on the premises. Loved working there, lot of fun lot of good people and a good company. but it came down to being understaffed and underpayed for duties performed.

currently work at PING in Iron Grinding dept. a job to pay bills in the meantime. looking for something a little more lucrative, because i also love cars and auto culture and that aint cheap haha! laugh.gif
Currently going to UTI full time. Also working for National Lumber as a fleet mechanic.
