I'm thinking about a 3s-ge swap but I've spent the last 2 hours re-thinking my options and I might just rebuild my 5sfe and add headers (this post is very helpful with that), also I'll put in a "new" cold air intake, complete exhaust system (mine's 3 yrs old now), webcams, and finally tune everything to work nsync. That'll probably set me up nicely with the 5sfe and I can still keep the original stock 5sfe.
With the ebay headers...would a port/polish on the head boost the headers capabilities at all?

Somewhat but not much...think it'll probably be a minor port/polish job, but meh im not sure.
It'll cost you approx ~200 and you only get a couple hp out of it, it's not that much of a different but a bit of something is better than nothing right?
Also, i've been in an st204 already with headers and port/polished with the jdm 5s-fe already and recently sea-foam'd, and a bunch of other goodies, so yeah.

nice, well like you said, a little is better than nothing.
Headers are installed!!! However, i'm running with a stock cat and piping and just the muffler so it kinda sounds like a fartcan right now hahah, but improved throttle response and a more growl tone.
10 mins of driving and went to gas station to get gas, and my headers went from chrome to gold.
not sure if someone got it but for exhaust manifold is 36 ft. lbs torque on the 5sfe
