Very nice work and attention to detail with photos is very helpful. When desoldering try using a desoldering tool - it's about $10 and a bit like a large syringe that you press a button on and it sucks up the hot solder - I use one all the time. I notice that you had wet carpet last year - did you find out where the water was coming from? My floor is wet on one side of the car but seats are dry and no obvious roof leaks?
no havent found the leak, but my car is a vert. so maybe the seals.

That center speaker is awesome. Details on the install and such?
'97 ST\ Eibach \ KYB \ Kenwood \ Alpine \ Cusco \ OEM+[sold 10/18]'93 MX-5LE
http://cgi.ebay.com/Alpine-SBS-05DC-Center...=item4149fd424ainstalation is as easy as installing another din, it is a speaker all you need to do is decide to tap the left or right front speakers from the headunit. and that is it. It makes your mids better, meaning if you dont have a sub, youll feel like the voices are screaming if you dont do the bass and treble from the headunit.
otherwise i love having the two alpine logos.

Might be a sweet thing to add while putting in a sub, since the head unit will be out anyway.

well, guys never had time to find a leak, and today

so disappointing. The Mr2 seats do not belong in the celica anymore. I have decided to do some changes, very interesting changes.. like

and or this going to scrap or sell

and others...

Sorry to hear about the water, it can be a real pain. Especially when its only a little and you don't notice it too often. Corrodes over time and makes some nasty headaches when you finally poke around a bit. I have a similar problem with the T-tops on the vette. The weather stripping on that whole car is just dead, 40 yr old rubber and its all cracked. I plan on replacing it ASAP, but time is of short supply.
Any hints towards your new big plans? I like the25th anniversary teaser.
closing in onto the leak, will have to remove fender

Nice pic up, you adding the 4 inch speakers to the stock location? If you need any pics or dimensions I have a set of premium panels in my trunk that I can easily check out for you.
im hoping to see a mark or something, I dont have the time right now but there should be indentations for the screws at least in the door card, but any help is appreciated...
