Hey all, i just got a 94 celica GT 5spd about 3 weeks ago. I had a 89 240sx before this, car was in mint shape and some girl went thru a intersection and side swiped it... so i took the insurance money and bought my new baby..i gotta say i'v had some things to fix and some troubles with the car but i love it....i owned a E30 bmw before the 240sx and i gotta say the celica is by far my favorite vehicle i have owned yet to date .

Been doing some research and i am hoping to put in a 3sgte but first i want to make the car completely mint with everything working top notch. i hit the 180,000kms on it and the timing belt snapped, took about 3 hours to change and 40 bucks for the belt. My drivers side front rotor also decided to warp on me and so i just went out and bought all new rotors and pads front and rear....although i still need ebrake shoes which i can only find at the dealership for 38 bucks each shoe *cry* but anyways...just figured i'd say hi and join the family lol

Another person who has also owned an e30. I had a 320i with a 2.5L motor for 5 years and i have to say that the celica would s**t all over it.

lol my e30 would have ate my celica up once it got to 160km's or so but i think it would have had alot of trouble catching up to the celica to even get to pass it...the 2.2 surprised me really, lots of low end torque i love that. all though the fronts tires dont seem to like it as much lol

Wow...what e30 did you have? mine was damn right scary anything past 170k's.
I was the same when i drove the 2L celica....real surprised.
Lol about the front wheels...you guys would be in snow at the mo?

we got like 3 or 4 storms in the past week and but it rained like crazy the other day and washed it almost all away so the streets are bare besides salt and sand, i have my winters on the car but they are wrote off lol the wear bars are no longer in existence lol

Hi! Welcome! I had a 89 240sx before my celica too... But it kept buring up oil and before i knew it, I got into a fight with my girlfriend at the time. My hoses started to break. Then I ended up rushing to get her to work and guess what? I BLEW a huge hole in my engine. Then I moved out of my house with no job (in order to not have to pay back mom for the celica, because I was still paying off the loan she gave for the 240sx) and she forced me to sell off the 240sx because she didn't want it at her house and I had no room at my apartment. Where's my violin? I don't get one now? It IS a sad story! ARRRGGGH! Sorry, I keep hearing voices. JK. Random.... that's me.. Yeah so, welcome... sorry to hear about your 240sx. 89 was a horrible year for everyone anyways.
