I Close the deal for my Celica Next week! - 6G Celicas Forums

well, about 2 years ago i bought a 99 V6 mustang because i just simply could not find a celica in NY!. now i live in texas, and they are more common. my girlfriend has moved in and we are sharing the mustang right now. but i found a 1996 celica gt for 3k with 138k miles. this car is gorgeous. can't wait to get it. only problem is its an AUTO. ill prolly end up letting her drive that. until i can swap the tranny.
well, ill be posting alot once i get it, and ill throw some pics on here too.

Congrats! where in texas are you?
You should try to go to the texas meet march 14-16!

save 5-6k and swap in a 3sgte engine with 5 speed manual - you can get it done for alot less, but just some food for thought

yep! loan was approved. gonna be next week tho. need to wait for next paycheck as well.
im located in north houston. im going to UTI here for collision repair.moved from new york back in august.
hopefully i get it all registered soon so i can start going to the meets!

Ok I know I will sound retarded but what is an S54 what does it come off of. I have a e153 but what does an s54 come off of???
