Hi, I was wondering if anyone can assist me in making the bst decision. My car is lowered by almost 2 inches. I want to get these rims as close as I can to the fender without any problems rubbing or hitting any suspension parts. I've decided on 17" wheels but I need to know which is the best width to maximize. I was looking at the 17x7.5 +32. Is this a perfect size? I saw on WannabeGT4's thread that this is pretty close to flush. Unless I need 17x7.5 +42 to be safe.


Planning to go the shop and make a special order today so if I could get an idea that would be most appreciated. By the way, I am getting these with 215/45/17 tires. No way I am getting 40 series.

225/40/17 or 225/45/17 get something a bit wider imo

I'm going in to order very soon. Work Emotion and a Stateside Dealer both say, the 17x7.5 +32 offset fits fine on lowered cars. MaskedMan has 17x7.5 +42 and he says that he is satisfied. My goal is to flush it behind the fender as much I can. According to WannabeGT4, below, he says that 7.5 +33 is recommended. Will the +1 offset difference prevent me from running the +32 offset? Please help, need to make a decision in a few hours. Thanks!

Ideal Offset in Relation to Wheel Width (lower ride height):
Width - Offset
7.0"-----36mm with 10mm spacer (effectively 26mm) *
7.5"-----33mm

According to Work and the vendor I am getting it through, they say that 17x7.5 +32 offset will work on my car with the lowered ride height. Hope they are right, because if it does, that will look awesome flushed!

The Bronze ones just like MaskedMan. Didn't want the Gun-Metal color cus thats the color I have now on my Enkei Wheels.
