ok so i was thinking about buying some kirksaurus urithane motor mount incerts but today i put my car on the lift at school and checked out my mounts and my back mount is completely gone. like barely a trace of black rubbery stuff left. just metal to metal every time i shift or hit the gas to hard

so i was thinking since the inserts only fill in the emty spots on the stock mount rubbers(leaveing a little X of space), would it be efficient to put an incert in there without he origional black rubber? or would it just rip up the incert?


tell me what you think, ppl are telling me just try it and see but i dont wanna waste my money

you'll probably kill the inserts and I don't think they would even have anything to hold onto with the OEM rubber in there. Buy a new mount, then insert inserts.

are motor mounts hard to replace???

na not hard, the rear requires some twisting about.
