can anybody tell me if a 3s-fe transmission will fit on a 3s-ge engine???

Are you going to use the transmission from an older generation Camry? Or from the Toyota Caldina, the A540H-09B Full Time 4WD tranny? I am pretty sure it can work though, lemme get back to you on that. I think I've read it somewhere.

Its from a toyota exiv '96, my tranny is broken. Im saving for a 3sgte engine but for now I want to buy this 3sfe tranny fwd (cheap $150) only so I can drive my celica again. 'here in Suriname is hard to find a 3sge tranny.

Wow that engine bay looks incredibly similar to ours, 5th gens and camry's. It looks alot like a 5s-fe tho. Any good engines come on them? Most of the sites I saw were in various asian languages.
The more I look at - it's a cool looking car and some of the customized ones are well done [got some ricey ones too ]. Beats the hell out of most Camrys

Possible RWD S Series Tranny Doaners:
-Altezza
-Rav 4
You should research available clutch sets and motor mounts that work with your chosen doaner tranny [some of the above cars are available with other than S Series Motors so ignore those model's Trannys]
