Try ordering them online from the states.

i would but i'm trying to save the 35% duty fee that i end up paying. "10 bucks is 10 bucks" >>Geddy Lee, bassist and songwriter for the legendary rock trio RUSH on the Great White North album starring Bob and Doug MacKenzie.>>
PM replied. and i love how you quote Geddy Lee, such a Canadian thing..lol
you can't buy them from ebay?? They're pretty cheap from ebay. KYB GR-2 shocks are like $170, and Tein springs were like $150. I got my Tein S-Tech springs off ebay for $150 brand new.

...how come i don't know of any 35% duty fee??? isn't it 6.1% in canada?
200 + 6.1% duties + tax + shipping + brokerage fees + any service fees is still probably cheaper than whatever u can find in cnada

 you are right it just seems like 35% when you have to pay it on top of shipping and there used to be this currency conversion thing when the loonie was around 0,65$ US. i guess i should place the order for my springs and KYBs online from the States. if i procrastinate, spring will have sprung and i'll still have a car that looks like it's on stilts.

thanks everyone for the responses and suggestions.

Find someone that will not ship with UPS. Anything else you will just pay the normal import fees/duties.

I remember when I ordered my gt-four from conversion, that thing was massive (a pallet) and was worth around 600-800$..and I just paied around 70$ when it went across cause I had to release the package myself at the custom office (they faxed me the papers and I had to answer a bunch of questions like what it was and where it was made).

Actually, if they ship with UPS, you can specify you will release the package yourself, just give them a fax number they can send the papers to you and be sure there a custom office near you, you can do it all yourself and save 20-40$ bucks.
