Sounds like a plan, this meet is happening no matter what happens with Penske Toyota. Are people still ok with meeting at Whittier Narrows, or would we rather once again gather at Marco's house? His house seems to be the official meeting spot for the SC6GC. We will see what happens when the date gets closer.

I guess I'll meet at Marco's too then rawr rawr. But dude, I would have to wake up like... HELLA early! We have to be at Penske Toyota before 7am. So let's see, we would have to leave Marco's house no later than 6am to ensure we arrive on time. Which means we would have to meet at Marco's house at 5am, and I would have to leave my house at like 4am. Don't even mention what time I'll have to wake up to get everything ready ugh .

We can meet whenever you like Xavier . It doesn't look like we are entering our cars in the show after all. If you would still like to register, then feel free to do so. But arrangments, payment, and information regarding registration will be left up to you.

So how does registration work? are we registering on our own or as a group?

So is this a SCAM or what? I did a quick search on Google and it seemed like there are similar posts for this "car show" on other forums. Problem is that the dates vary (one had it in March, others in April). I don't know much about car shows, but having one every month (at the same location, same sponsors) seems a bit odd/fishy.

Anyways, I'm getting bored sitting on my butt up here in SF and think it'll do me some good to drive down to SoCal. So if you guys are meeting up sometime during the 19th of April, let me know.


On a separate note:

Derrick, I found my key! Won't believe where it was...I guess Cecilia was jealous and decided to hide it from me in an attempt to have me spend more time with her. So last week while driving around, I accidentally discovered my "lost" key hidden in a "secret" compartment while fumbling around for my cell phone in my car, which I had dropped while driving (yeah, I know it's a bad habit). LOL, looks like I dodged a thousand dollar bullet there! So in an attempt to make Cecilia feel less neglected, I've been driving her more than usual now



And hey, I didn't see any of you guys at the NorCal celica meet. Wassup with that? I was the only one representing SoCal 6GC...

You need to contact RollaOne for registration information and confirmation. RollaOne has not replied to me nor Ty, so good luck with that. I'm not saying it's a scam, more of a poorly organized meet if you ask me. If you were representing your site or club, in this case NGC, then wouldn't it only make sense to keep in touch especially when there is money involved? There is possibly a good reason for this, perhaps she doesn't check this site much, but they don't even mention anything about this meet on their official site either. I am just going to go spectate unless there is a need for a 5th Celica. Free food is still availible for spectators and admission is free.

we'll find something to do that day. this meet is taking too long too arrive. i've kinda lost interest in it. but then i remember the free food and everything is all better once again . this better be real, not because of the cars, or the event, or the raffle. I just really have my hopes up for free food. If there is no free food, i will personally hold team NGC responsible for my hatred of corollas from now on rawr rawr!

what is the website for team NGC? I still have not gotten any response. I paid on the 20th of last month This is ridiculous and I'm begining to think I got taken. I know it's not alot of money but believe me I'm going to report this to paypal as a fraud if I don't get a response before the meet date.

if this isnt legit, then well all meet at my house, leave at 11, eat at panda garden buffet, then cruise around for good quality picture taking! and go to Scandia!

BTW, I just changed the spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor on my car and it's running so much better now, you have no idea. Apparently I was running bosche plugs all this time (for years [keep in mind I didn't drive my car for 2 years]) and didn't even realized it until now. All I need is the CV axle replaced and the exhuast leak fixed and I'll be all set! Marco, is it ok if we do that this weekend? The axle and the exhuast?

I believe Ty was the only one from 6gc.net to pay for registration. Ty, you need to somehow contact RollaOne for a refund, or if you'd like I can try to find a way for them to contact you. They said that this meet has been rescheduled for August 2008, but as some of you already know, I will not longer be living in SoCal by that time. If you wish to register for that meet, they will be accepting payments later.

Scandia is a Mini-theme park where you pay a low cost in the entrance then you can ride the rides all day!!! fee is like 14 bucks the last time i want there...... its pretty chill there and we can do some pic taking as well they got food and arcades as well...oh.... and dont forget the go-carts!!!! its also free all day, as long you pay the entrance fee.....we can all cruise down there!!! but yeah Derrick we can fix the muffler on saturday and your CV axle too...bt u gotta come hella early at my house like around 10 so we can go to my friends muffler shop early and fix the axle early as well..... so yeah .....OUR PLANS WILL BE SET ON THE 19th OR WHAT??? I NEED VOTES PEOPLE!! WHO CAN CRUISE ON THE 19th????

Marco, how much your muffler guy gonna charge me for installing an after-cat exhaust? Just wondering for future reference...
