if anyone could tell me exactly what clutchs will fit a beams celica. seen a exedy one on ebay for a 2.0l gt 1990 onwards. any help from someone who knows what there talking about would be great. also going to change the flywheel seen a few on the net but again im not sure if there suitable for a beams.
Thanks
Be carefull with the ebay clutches, most of them are just reconditioned ones! I was about to buy an Exedy stage 1 for my GT but when i spoke to my local motorsports garage who are direct suppliers of Exedy they said that that exedy don't make a clutch for my particular model of car. This was confirmed by contacting Exedy directly and looking on their website.

I don't know anything about the beams though so can't help you with application. But rather than buying a new flywheel, unless your after a lightweight one (I reccomend fidanza) then just get it re-machined!

In terms of clutches that do fir our celicas then I reccomend Helix stage 1 clutches for fast road use or jsut OEM replacement for mildy modified cars. Anything with a turbo and you will need a better clutch and as always you get what you pay for. With components such as brakes and clutches I would never buy from Ebay because you don't know what your getting - save the dosh and get a proper one from a registered dealer.

Just my thoughts!

thanks for feedback think im gonna stick with a stock clutch not running much more power than 220 so it should be ok and easy to drive.
I finally got my new clutch in nad got it installed by a professional motorsport garage, got it at a reall good price too! Its an OEM clutch, can't remember the brand but they are basically OEM with slightly better materials!

The difference, i can safely say is amazing! The bite is so much better, the acceleration is vastly imporved and with new transmission oil the shifiting is so quick now! I also put kirkosaurous motor mounts in and they rock, the car handles way better now and a real connected feel, especially through the shifts, the car doens't dive under quick shift so much and pulls away so much better! I spinning my wheels though now becasue there is so much more acceleration - need new rubber and shocks to get this new power onto the road!
