sorry to dump but here it goes.

i love my car. i hate the shape it's in. i fix one thing, three other problems arise. i want to sell the POS. i want to restore it. i can't wait for nicer weather so i can work on it. i love the 6gc.net. i am seriously addicted to the 6gc.net. i want my car to last forever. i have to pour $.$$ into the car to keep it running. this may be OT. i don't care. i need sleep. you are the best!!!

sorry to hear bout the troubles though. i enjoy working on my car if it's in my own time table. when it decides to stop working on it's own, that just pisses me right off. i've been lucky though. knock on wood.

specifics...

really missed my car this winter so i bought wheels and tires. if you by pretty wheels you have to get springs and struts. spend too much 0:00 and $.$$ and that then find out the rad is shot, the doors are showing rust again, the paint is chipped, the A/C belt is flapping, the tranny cooler never really worked, the A/C leaked dry during the winter, the skirts aren't mounted properly and look like sheet, the subs are heavy and not installed, i'm paying 20$ a month for my Sirius and there is no one listening, and the list goes on...still i love my ride more than my BMW 540i, i miss it and want to keep it on the road. is this the curse we all share?

Our cars aren't brand new, they are going to have thier problems, even being Toyota...I'm the same way, got a good size list of repairs that need done and it is very expensive to work on the car, however, the question you have to ask yourself is "is it worth it?" It's different for different people depending on how attatched you are to your car and also your financial status. Sorry to hear you'r having troubles w/ it.

well at least put Sirius receiver in whatever you're driving for now!

update...

feelin' better about the car these days. just a lot to deal with at once i guess. mostly, i was afraid it was becoming a money-pit and i would have to get rid of it. made a list and a plan, now i'm just waiting for the warmer weather to start on it. the springs and struts arrived this week at the shop so i'll have to make an appointment soon. i replaced the rad myself last weekend. no leaks .

will deal with the rest l8r.

Its teh winter blues! (and this one really is bad at it). I feel your pain.

Hang in there, once teh summer is here all start to feel better, I'm tired of driving a dirty ass car that you can't wash cause it's goingot turn into an ice cycle. My rims looks like crapola I can't even install comfortably a boost gauge or change my oil!

That's good to see that your car is starting to come along again man, don't lose hope. Your baby still needs you! haha. I'm currently rushing on trying to fix everything back to ship shape before the big Sherbrooke meet so I can look presentable. But I'm selling my rims to Jeunesse in June, so I'll probably have to ride up to the meet with my steelies BOO, unless I miracoulously get my new rims and tires haha, like that'll happen though.
Keep up the good work bro, can't wait to see your progress and your clean machine for the big meet.

its what like 12+years old??? my car was poorly maintained from its previous owner............

so what its an old car........not surprised things are breaking...........

as for me.........it all started with my clutch, then grinding, then a ticking noise(its my valve spring),then brakes(needed to be changed anyway), now plopping/ticking noise when i turn at speeds higher than 45mph.........its my CV's, then my suspension is dieing, alignment is banking in about a couple degrees.....car idles low when im stopped...............

also what i dont get is i hear this other ticking noise when im at a complete stop in neutral with my foot only on the brake........then when i take my foot off the brake and use the e-brake the ticking goes away????

SO DONT WORRY YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS TO GO THROUGH ALL THIS.............

but then again yours is a 99...........still things are meant to break down after a while.

my baby my mx6 was my girl....but she gave me so many problems! its a sin..i sold her i miss her but im glad shes gone when i get my 7 i will get another 6 cause i loved her so much...it was just awesome, amazing handling, hot looking car and well she was just my baby...i kept her original tails, badges and key from her to keep...I WAS in love with that car...when she left i kissed her goodbye....go ahead and flame me i dont care, because to me that car was my companion (might i add my first car, although my second car was the same) and i was really close to it...to me a car is more than just a car, the car is a she and apart of my family
