That reminds me of a funny story. The first joke I ever taught my 3 year old son was as follows:
Q: What is the best kind of cat?
A: A dead cat.
Its kind of a simple joke but hearing a three year old say it will make you pee your pants!

My GFs cat is named Kitty Fcuker [obviously I named it] mainly because he went through several names in the first month and she couldn't stick with one. So I decided to get descriptive with the name [you know like fluffy etc] and all I really knew about him at that point was that he would, if given the chance, have relations with other kittys. Hence the name Kitty Fcuker.
The kids have to call him Kitty Raper tho. They're not allowed to say the real name.

A human life is worth more than a cat (Sorry, I go from Biblical belief), though I think she should lose an eye for that. Who can kill such an innocent animal? I actually feel bad for domesticated pets. Yet it is the world we live in that they benefit from being domesticated, even though they are killed by still instead of what is looked at as "natural". Anyways, this person who did this to your cat will probably love something and have it killed right before her very eyes without being able to prevent it. Then the first thing that will come to her mind would be the cat.
