where to go to get splitters installed? - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #56694 8 posts Started by daazndood
hey guys. i put my front splitters on myself long ago and i did a decent job but it looks bad up close. i received my rear splitters like a week ago. i would like to get the front and rears professionally installed now.

where would i go to do this? i dont need it painted or anything just installed so that its secure with no gaps and such. any estimate on costs?
it depends on how much modification is needed to get them to fit right. also depends on the shop you go to. a shop should charge you around $120 for both front and rear installed. but there are a lot of variable involved. if the shop doesnt charge alot and your splitters are almost a direct fit, then maybe they would only charge you $60. best way to find out is to go out and start asking potential shops smile.gif.

hi. thanks for the reply.

the fronts are from doggy so they are good fit. the rears were pre installed so they are perfect fit.

why are you not comfortable installing the rears if they are a perfect fit?

chances are if they don't need paint they will charge you for one hour of labor, even if it takes them 45 minutes, so you can find out hourly rates and move on from there. imo you shouldn't pay anyone over $80 to install them if the fitment of the extensions doesnt need any drastic repairwork . .
