WTB: Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #57065 10 posts Started by DEATH
As the title says I need 2-5 Sets of Braided Steel Brake Lines [one would get us out of a bind]. I doubt anyone here has 2-5 sets just laying around but I figured I'd give you guys a shot first.
Barring that does anyone know of a brand that is tested tried and true by either your experience or someone else's on the site? If they take group buys that would be cool also.
Thanks in advance biggrin.gif

I just ordered a set of russell ss brake lines. I haven't got them yet but they're made by edelbrock and a few other people on this site have them. If you do a search and you'll find the part # and people talking about them.

Right on man - another member just turned me on to those too. How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking? The houston guys all want/need them so I'm gonna try to get a group buy for 5 sets going and I'd like a base price for comparison.
Thanks man.

I looked around at all of edelbrock's online dealers and I ended up buying them from performancecenter.com for $107.29 and free shipping. That was the cheapest price with shippig that I could find. You might be able to call an edelbrock sales rep and get a group buy directly from them. Part #688300

You rock man - that's what we needed.
D-man - I'm on it. When you gonna get us those discs? I don't want the pads - I think I'll stick with OEM or TRD if I can find it.

Disks right.

just to let you know, it does change your breaking experience. A light stop is REALLY light, but when you hammer on your breaks, (we've all see where i bottomed out at 35 biggrin.gif )

Those folks i got mine from are "duuhhh, i dont know"-ing me arround so i'mah find some more. I have found some on e-bay, but i wouldnt trust em as a coaster much less to save my life rolleyes.gif

Death, I'm sure you agree with that. smile.gif
