Picked up my copy of Final Fantasy Crisis Core yesterday and loved it.....

The only con I found with this game is the slot machine style of leveling up and limit breaks....otherwise CG is awesome..

woah wait. I havent picked this game up yet. but its a completely new style of leveling!? so explain this slot machine style to me please

The slot machine system has different pictures of each character in the game you meet.....for example Sephiroth the relentless, Cloud the amateur, Aerith the bold.....blah blah blah....

In a battle you hit each enemy and with that you gain Soldier points (SP) that is used for the slot machine to spin..

With a right combo you get a certain characters to show up on the screen....depends on the numbers you get:

1. three 7s get you to level up
2. any combo of two same number will level up your magic
3. you unleash the character shown special ability
4. You unleash the Godly Summons.....

Note that this battle system is real time so it keeps going and going.....therefore these events of the slot machine happens randomly while in the fight and always good CG during the fight....

hmm it sounds a lil complicated right now . maybe it will be easier when im actually playing it. the traditional leveling is always my favorite where you just fight and gain EXP, AP and gil. but i also liked the leveling system for FFX. the sphere grid was an interesting concept even though it took me awhile to fully understand how it worked.

my bro got it. it looks awesome but i haven't played it yet cuz he hogs and takes it with him everywhere. i haven't seen my psp in a while. but its cool cuz my ps3 will keep me busy till he gets tired of crisis core.

Man, I hate when they do that crap. I guess I gotta get a psp now. I buy any final fantasy game, though I haven't beaten any except for tactics, and even with that one, I haven't did those dungeon missions. Anyways, I just collect final fantasy games. One day I will play them from beginning to end. The only other one I did that with was Final Fantasy VII where I got owned by Sephiroth. Well my crew did, I must have had the right materia combination because that METEOR ability did 0 to me.
