I have the ST and im planing on a 4AGE or 3SGE engine swap next summer. My question is how hard is it to switch the engine mounts so that a 3SGE will fit into my 7AFE? Do you just need to switch the mounts? or do you need to do some real modifecations to the body. Im tryna find out how much harder a 3sge would be to swap in >>

I think that drilling a few holes is required in order to bolt in the motor mounts from a USDM GT, which are the motor mounts you'd need to drop the 3S-GE into your Celica.

Check out Mike's Project Celica site for more information. He swapped a 3S-GTE into his AT200, so he may have more information on changing the motor mounts.

Thanks! Yeah I read all that but nothing mentioned the motor mounts really, I just read his total parts cost and felt a little ill.
