Is that why it's so cheap and what do you think of the credibility?

Good to know. Are you knowledgeable about swapping out the 5sfe for the 3sge BLKCELICA95?
thats quite an old one generation 1 3S-GE?

1ste gen 3S-GE swap is pretty pointless, if you want some extra power, regrind your 5s-fe camshafts, gives a pretty good performance boost.

JDM Powerplant installed, BPU coming very soon!
What else do I have to do in order to make the cams work...fuel man. upgrading? Stiffer springs? Tune?

If I were to get a 3S-GE engine...what generation should I get? I want the most direct and painless installation possible with the 3sge engine. I was thinking the mid-90's 3sge???
for the cams to work , you ll have to re shim , tuning isnt a must but to get all you can out of the regrind, its a good idea.
if i were swaping to a 3s-ge i would get the new est gen possible. and since your not boosting i would try to get a beams vvti.

I thought the new beams had complications that came with swapping it into a 6gen celica gt. Is that correct? Plus, it's a bit too much $$ for me.

I've been thinking about the 3rd gen 3s-ge but would I want EGR or not? There were 2 types for the 3rd gen apparently.
thanks for checking it out, I'll look into that.
